The American Foundation for Relief and Reconciliation in the Middle East
FRRME America was established in 2009 by a dedicated group of U.S. citizens who had known and worked with Canon Andrew White and who had supported his efforts on behalf of FRRME in Baghdad, Iraq. The U.S. chapter was created to promote and foster reconciliation; provide support to Christian churches in the Middle East, particularly St. George’s Baghdad; provide relief efforts; advance the rights of women, children and religious minorities; and to seek an end to sectarian violence in the region.
The Becket Fund for Religious Liberty
The Becket Fund for Religious Liberty is a non-profit, public-interest legal and educational institute with a mission to protect the free expression of all faiths. The Becket Fund exists to vindicate a simple but frequently neglected principle: that because the religious impulse is natural to human beings, religious expression is natural to human culture. We advance that principle in three arenas—the courts of law, the court of public opinion, and the academy—both in the United States and abroad.
